ALGA KILLER

Alga Killer is a formulated biocide and stabiliser/dispersant package that inhibits bacterial, fungal and mould growth in hydrocarbon fuels whilst preventing the oxidation of fuel.
Alga killer will provide ongoing protection against microbial activity in all liquid hydrocarbon fuels, including biofuels. It can be used in heavily contaminated fuel systems to kill the microbes. This shock treatment should be followed by preventative treatment to protect against recontamination.
Alga killer is effetctive against a broad spectrum of bacteria, moulds and fungi. Its long lasting activity protects multiple fuel turnovers and fuels in long term storage, can help to significantly improve the storage stability of mineral fuels and biodiesel blends, will not leave any corrosive by-products in the fuel.
Used as part of an effective housekeeping practice, prevent fuel system failures related to microbial activity and can help to reduce maintenance costs.

To preserve and protect fuel systems: 0,01-0,03 %
To clean up heavily contaminated fuel system: 0,05-0,15% ppm, followed by a preventative treatment. A successful microbial kill may result in a large volume of dead biomass. This should be removed from the fuel by filtration within 24 to 72 hours from treatment.
