Designed as an alternative to traditional solvent-based or high-alkalinity washing tanks, this system operates with water-based cleaning solutions free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and non-classified as hazardous to operators or wastewater systems.
The synergistic action of the washing unit and Altur biological cleaning fluids effectively removes machining oils, metalworking fluids, anti-corrosion protectives, and light greases. Microorganisms and enzymes within the solution break down and metabolize dissolved hydrocarbons and organic matter, while a mechanical filtration system traps solid particulate. This continuous biodegradation process keeps the wash fluid active over time, significantly extending bath life and reducing the frequency of hazardous waste disposal.
